I have implemented a few guidelines that are listed below in plain text format:
I am quite fed up of seeing ridiculous threads posted in these forums, so I'm just going to delete any I deem 'useless' without notice.
This includes but is not limited to:
- 'hate' threads.
- really, really stupid, meaningless threads.
- 'i want to chat', or 'anyone want to talk' threads.
- 'i'm bored' threads.
- any threads with explicit or inappropriate content.
I will delete any more threads I feel aren't worth keeping at my own disgression.
More tips to help keep you on my good side would be:
- using correct grammar, spelling and punctuation in the thread and title.
- not writing 'who here' in the thread title.
- not asking people to reply in the thread title - it's fairly obvious what you should do already.
And finally, you do not need to make two threads about the same thing. For example, koolweird created a thread entitled 'new orleans', but then greendayrockkat created a new thread entitled 'enybody been affected by da hurricane'. This does not need to be done. greendayrockkat should have simply posted in the new orleans thread, saying 'has anybody been affected by the hurricane?' or similar.
