Wow well I tried to write another entry a few days back but realised it wasn't very interesting. I'll try and be succinct.
Went to Edinburgh Uni on Saturday. Looks like I'm set up for a cracking 5 years of fun and interesting people. It's also rather scary though, because I depend on my parents quite a lot and the independence will probably shake me up quite a bit. Absolutely can't wait to set up a new band there though.
Went out with one of my best new work mates both Sundays around last week and had chats about lad stuff, which I haven't had chance to do in a while. Of course I might have said a little too much in some cases. Oh well... last night we had some hilarious old man trying to talk to us for a good hour and ended up having to ignore him completely.
Also yesterday a girl I was interested in came and talked to me at dinner at work but I discovered she is taken by someone else at work, not that I'm bothered because her choice of partner has put me off her anyway. I guess I am satisfied with a good new friend at work. All happy
Today my band is supposed to be practicing although once again it seems the drummer "can't make it" which is getting increasingly annoying because we have had to pay £10 for the late cancellation of hire of our practice space. Grr! We're lucky there's no gigs booked soon because otherwise we wouldn't be ready!
I'm too tired currently to write more, not that you're interested anyway!
Over and oot (as the Scots would say). |

All my mates are going Uni.
About 7 already have but they've gone far. (I.E. Coventry, Plymouth etc) Accommodation is an arm and a leg unless you get a job which can pay *Some* of that off. But! Whats good now, you can get a grant for up to £2,500 which you don't have to pay back so apply for it!
And the other mates (the ones who, like me, stayed on to college for 3 years instead of 2) seem to be going to local Uni (I.E. Greenwich, London Met, South Bank et.c) to save on money.
What you studying?
Got into any yet? Mates getting a few 'conditional' yes at the moment no deffo's.
Good luck Micky! |

Yeah, Edinburgh and a bunch of others but they don't really matter considering Ed is one of my lowest offers and it's going at the top of my list. Also got offers Bristol, Birmingham and a bunch of others if you're interested.
I have enough money saved up from my current job for at least the first year and the rest I can get an interest free student loan for anyway. |
