What makes you think it is ok to not only copy my game from my site, that explicitly tells you that you may not copy it, but even decompile it and alter the code to make it submit highscores to your own site, instead of mine?
Is this the general practice of this site?

# 22:16pm, Feb. 16th 2007Can you please specify which game this is please.
As you see Here you should normally contact via this form.
Apologies for any inconvenience cause, and we will take it down promptly.
PS: We do not and have not altered any games here. -
# 34:35pm, Feb. 16th 2007I don't really care that much about it having been copied, and would normally just have ignored it. What bothers me is when people modify it.
Hmm. Fact is that the game has been altered by someone, and altered in exact such a way, that the highscores now work with your webpage. So......
How would any games on your site, that you didn't design yourselfs, work with your highscores, without you modifying it?
The game ishttp://www.arcadexl.com/pla...
I have sent a mail through the proper contact form now. -
# 44:38pm, Feb. 16th 2007I see, well Skydiver has been modified .. however not by us.
Sky diver has been modified to be used on the IPB Boards and I'm sure if you scout around, many others are using the same game.
Our high scores are compatible with games that are converted FOR IPB, and therefore any of the games we collect off them sites have not been modified by the staff at XL.
However apologies and it will be taken down. -
# 54:50pm, Feb. 16th 2007I see.
It's not really a big deal, I was just surprised when I saw it.
Thanks for the explanation and the prompt answer.
