Welcome and thank you for reading:
Payaso's Newbie Tutorial For getting started with Digital Arts (for dummies)
(It's better than sliced bread oh snap!!!)

Alright since I'm starting to get asked about how I make the graphics, I decided to give in and provide the links on where to download these programs such as
Photoshop CS 2 (yes you newbies be thankful for I'm providing the link to a version such greater than mine)
    and Gif Movie Gear
and provide links to tutorials!!!(and maybe make some myself)

Okay for now lets start with Photoshop. Just click on the link below and a new window will open up taking you to the download site where you can obtain the trail version of Photoshop CS2
    Registration required

Photoshop Cs 2 Download Link for Windows
Photoshop Cs 2 Download Link for Mac

Okay after you run the program go ahead and tinker with it a bit, look for where things are, like filters, layers, brushes, and test out what they do.

When you think you're ready go ahead and go to this site:
    PhotoshopCafe Tutorials
This site has quite a few tutorials on some neat tricks you can use with Photoshop, I really recommend trying some of them out since most of time you will be using some of these steps included in these tutorials for your own work.

But if you think that the tutorials are too confusing try the link below
    Watch and Learn Photoshop.com
Now this site has some very descriptive videos! Seriously if you are completely clueless it's best you try the link above because they break down their lessons step by step...and if you don't understand the first time...well, you can just rewind the video and watch again. ~.^ chyea!

Well that's it for now, later on when I find some other good sites I will update along with the links to downloading Gif Movie Gear
Or you can just google it yourself, But I suggest if you want to make avatars like mine you should get familiar with Photoshop first.

(just a note I SUCK WITH EXPLAINING THINGS...so if anyone is having a hard time reading this I will revise it...)

    1 more thing;

You may likely try then give up after a few hours, do not give up, it all becomes easy and pretty basic after a few days, and you can make some pretty good stuff if you keep at it.

I've got back in the groove.
